Hi, my name is Ajit and I joined Avon in October 2009 after watching a lady on GMTV. She quoted that she was earning £250,000 a year with Avon and went on to explain how she did it.
My thoughts at that time were ‘if she can do it, so can I’.
I signed up to become a rep, I had personally never seen an Avon brochure before so I had no idea of the products or prices, just that is was a business I could try.
I am the average Indian female who got married, had kids but after my divorce I wanted something more than being on benefits. With Avon, I did not need anything except the willingness to succeed and I had that in abundance because what I really wanted was to give my children a good life, travel and be able to buy Christmas and Birthday presents without having to decide – food or presents.
I worked hard at Avon and my full time job (that I had at the time), today I earn 3x my office job which for me, is TOTALLY amazing – I feel really proud that I am no longer on benefits and support myself and my family in the manner I want.
